The Land Rover corporation just announced that the all-new Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition, a hand-finished exclusive edition, will make its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

This flagship model features a hand-crafted luxury interior, using specially selected soft feel natural leather, to further elevate one of the finest interiors in the automotive world.

Passengers will experience ultra-luxury accommodations within the envelope of the eminently capable Range Rover. Two stand-alone powered rear seats provide exceptional space and comfort for the rear passengers. The addition of a rear console extension; which includes a machined aluminum laptop table, drinks chiller, and two Apple iPad devices as a standard part of the rear seat entertainment system; takes the Range Rover experience to new heights of luxury.  The luxury theme extends to the rear luggage space, with a super-yacht inspired teak floor with metal and leather detailing.

The interior story is completed with high-end semi-aniline leather seating and Oxford leather on the door casings, dashboard top and steering wheel. For the first time, Kalahari™ wood veneers are used on the dashboard and door trim. Unique interior trim in either dark cherry or Arabica is available.

Two new exclusive exterior colors, either Roussillon Red or Otago Stone, are available along with body colored door handles, dark atlas radiator grille and side vents to create a sophisticated finish. This Ultimate Edition is fitted with new 20” multi-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels. Customers also have the option of an Exterior Design Package and deployable side steps.

A 5.0-liter Supercharged V8 engine is standard, delivering 510 hp and 461 lb/ft of torque, which can propel the Range Rover from 0-60 mph in a breath-taking 5.9 seconds.

Like all Range Rover vehicles, this vehicle will be equipped with the lauded Terrain Response system, which optimizes the vehicle set-up for virtually all on-road or off-road driving situations, with five different settings to suit different terrains including new Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration Control.

The Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition was designed and engineered in Britain, and will be hand-crafted in the UK. As each vehicle will be crafted to customer order only, exclusivity is assured. Only 500 have been commissioned for buyers around the world, and fewer than 50 will be available in the US.
