"We were really pleased with the event," said Cliff Neubart, General Sales Manager at Land Rover Monmouth, Monmouth & Ocean county's only dedicated Land Rover Centre and a member of the Schneider+Nelson family of fine dealerships.  Of course Neubart was speaking of this past weekend's Off-Road Driving Challenge and TREAD LIGHTLY! Seminar held at the Centre.

In the morning clients were treated to breakfast and the opportunity to take a test drive in some of the newest vehicles in the Land Rover and Range Rover lines.  LRM expert sales guides took attendees on a turn around the Centre's own purpose-built Rock Course to expand the participants' appreciation and understanding of exactly what the vehicles are capable of doing in extreme situations.

"That was great," exclaimed Damarys Hampton after she and her husband Allan had just been taken over the test track in a new 2011 Range Rover.  "Yeah, it was incredible.  Just to see what the vehicle can do.  Incredible," said Allan Hampton following-up on his wife's exhuberant response to the test drive.

"Awesome, just awesome," said long-time Land Rover Monmouth client Mark Wilmore when assessing the vehicle's observed capabilities in extreme on- and off-road conditions.

Spencer Morasch, another Land Rover enthusiast in attendance said the event was "very relaxed, informative," and run by "good people."  Judging from the broad smiles on everyone's faces, staff and client alike, Spencer's observations were right on target.

After the morning test drive session clients were treated to a catered lunch followed by a fun and informative seminar on ethical off-roading run by husband and wife TREAD LIGHTLY! trainers, Leslie & Ken Montanaro.

Throughout the day attendees had opportunities to view new Land Rover Gear and Kit being offered at special discounts for the day by LRM's Parts Department and Gear Store.  "We really enjoyed putting together an interpretive display of Land Rover Kit for our patrons to see and enjoy.  And, we offered some nice discounts on accessories and Gear too for those in the market," commented LRM Parts Manager John Raquet.

Larry Campbell, Service Manager and longtime career staffer at LRM, stopped by later in the day to be sure that attendees had been briefed on all the valuable service specials and discounts they have available through his department.  These special service offers and coupons are viewable and easily accessible to all online under the SERVICE tab on the Land Rover Monmouth website homepage.

Nobody in attendance at Saturday's event left empty-handed, but rather everyone left with a goodie bag filled with gifts compliments of all the good folks at Schneider+Nelson's Land Rover Monmouth.    

"The afternoon TREAD LIGHTLY! seminar actually ran overtime because everyone was having so much fun," commented Joseph V. Kuca, Public Affairs Director for Land Rover Monmouth.  "We would have liked to have seen a greater number of folks in attendance, but the nice weather wooed away a lot of folks who had RSVPed.  Nonetheless, we are pleased that we were able to deliver a quality program to those who attended.  After all, we value our clients immensely and it's all part and parcel of the personalized client experience we offer here at Land Rover Monmouth.  And, it is also the Land Rover way," concluded Kuca.
