Land Rover Monmouth's Holiday Food Drive Wraps-Up

The Land Rover Monmouth Annual Holiday Food Drive to benefit the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties wraps-up this week after more than a month of dedicated collection efforts by LRM staffers.
"We're happy to be able to do this food drive here at the Centre every year. The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties does a great job and supports our friends and neighbors who may be wanting in these difficult times. We're proud to support their fine efforts," commented Rich Williams, Land Rover Monmouth Centre Manager.
Since the Centre's gala 2011 model year launch party on November 11th, which was dedicated to the FoodBank and kicked-off this year's annual food drive, patrons and staff have donated slightly under a quarter ton of canned goods and non-perishable food items for the FoodBank. "It was really heartening to see the outpouring of care displayed by everyone when we launched the food drive," said John Raquet, Parts Manager for Land Rover Monmouth. "Now it's time to pack up this food and get it to the folks who can really use it," continued Raquet.
"Our clients and Centre patrons, as well as all our staff, really make an effort to help with this great cause. After all, need makes no distinction. Few among us don't know of people who are stuggling these days. It makes us all happy to know that we've helped in some small way," commented Land Rover Monmouth Service Manager, Larry D. Campbell.
The food will be delivered to the FoodBank this week, just in time to fill the holiday tables of those who might otherwise go wanting during this time of year. "Land Rover Monmouth is a member of the Schneider+Nelson family of fine dealerships and, across the board, we've always been pro-active in community outreach. Our annual food drive is one of those outreach efforts that touches all of us," concluded Cliff Neubart, General Sales Manager.
