With new European safety regulations set to go into effect in 2015, and with existing US safety regs in place which have prevented the import of Defenders into the USA since the close of 1997, rumors amongst the automotive cognoscenti are rife with speculation as to what Land Rover will do to modify this off-road icon for the future to meet and exceed standards while still maintaining its iconic footprint. We'll all be on the edge of our seats waiting to see what the pencil-pushers and engineers come up with, but we're pretty sure it'll be great!
