2010 A Very Successful and Well-Recognized Year for Land Rover

MAHWAH, NJ, December 27, 2010 - Land Rover is celebrating a successful 2010 having received more than eighty international awards for its vehicles during the year.
One of the great highlights of the year was the new, limited-edition, Range Rover Autobiography Black being chosen 'Best of the Best' at the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Weekend by the editors of the Robb Report. Leading the charge for Land Rover was LR4 with over 28 global awards this year bringing its total to 144 since launch in 2004.
Land Rover awards this year include:
• Range Rover Sport's Automotive Lease Guide's (ALG) Residual Value Award in the Best Luxury Utility Vehicle
• Land Rover LR4 won Petersen's 4-Wheel & Off-Road 2011 4x4 of the Year Award
• Land Rover LR4 won 2011 Active Lifestyle Vehicle in Luxury Off-Road Category
• Land Rover LR2 won the People's Choice Award for Premium Compact SUV/CUV from Texas Automotive Media
• Range Rover was voted the 'Car of the Decade' by the readers of autocar.co.uk
• Range Rover Sport won 'Best 4x4' by Auto Bild
Commenting on the brand's many, many awards and accolades over this past year, Land Rover's Global Brand Director John Edwards said, "The LR4 offers an exceptional breadth of capability.
