Rich Williams, Centre Manager here at Land Rover Monmouth, is nearing his fifth decade of service within the automotive industry. He originally began his Land Rover career with us as our Service Manager, but he has since risen to the pivotal role which he now holds today.
Rich brings almost 40-years of highline automotive experience to the Land Rover Monmouth team. When working for the Automotive Group of Deloitte Consulting, he worked with a majority of the most prestigious automotive manufacturers and retailers throughout the world.
A true people-person, Rich is always at his best when interacting with our customers. Warm, polite, engaging and self-effacing, many of our customers, over the years, have come to consider him a friend. You can tell that he enjoys his work immensely by the smile he always has on his face.
When not working, it is a little known fact that Rich Williams is an ardent audiophile. In his spare time he enjoys nothing less than seeking out high-quality audio reproduction via the use of non-mass-produced equipment and extremely high-end audio electronics. As a devoted audiophile he derives great satisfaction from listening to music at a quality level that is as close to the original performance as possible using high-fidelity components. He's always searching for the next 'big thing' in audio. That having been said, he derives enormous satisfaction listening to vinyl records on his tube-based audio system!
What many of our clients have come to learn over the years is that Rich is a man of great depth and, when they have a particular question about their Land Rover's sound system, he is the man to see. While he loves our vehicles, he has come to truly love their sound systems with each new model year's release.
He is also a person who greatly enjoys fine dining, travel and a good read in his off hours too.
Over time Rich has acquired many awards and accolades for his professionalism, sales, customer service and depth of managerial knowledge and ability, though he's too modest ever to discuss them. He has many Land Rover University sessions to his credit as well. In addition to attending many Land Rover events, Rich has facilitated hundreds of automotive seminars, clinics and driving events.
He makes his home in Clark, NJ, along with his wife of 40-years and their two puppies, an Old English Sheepdog named Hannah and Thomper who is a breed all unto herself.
