Red Cross & Land Rover Joint Global Initiatives:

Helping People Around the World for More Than 20 Years

In 2010 Land Rover and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) launched a new three-year global initiative entitled ‘Reaching Vulnerable People Around the World’. This builds upon Land Rover’s commitment to the IFRC, which has seen the company pledge over $3.9 million in support since 2007.

The second major programme in the IFRC & Land Rover global initiative is in China. Land Rover will continue to help the Red Cross Society of China reach those people and communities most at risk of HIV. Land Rover’s previous support of this programme enabled the Red Cross Society of China to educate over 7,500 people about HIV prevention, recruit 140 health trainers and run public awareness campaigns reaching nearly 38,000 people.

Land Rover Monmouth applauds, supports and strongly encourages the public to generously assist with their local Monmouth and Ocean County Red Cross Chapters.

Land Rover is an active supporter of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies worldwide.
