LRM Staffer Attends NYU Stern School of Business Seminar
Campbell Attends 'High Potentials' Leadership Training

A fixture in the Service Department since 1999, Larry Campbell, pictured above, first began with Land Rover Monmouth as a Car Washer & Valet. His greater talents and people-skills were recognized early by management and he was soon made a Service Advisor. He rose to the position of Service Manager when he was promoted last year, in January 2010. He is the youngest manager in LRM's history.

OCEAN, NJ, May 23, 2011 - Many Land Rover Monmouth customers who have brought their vehicles in for servicing will be quite familiar with Larry Campbell's youthful way as well as his ever helpful and accommodating style. A fixture in LRM's busy Service Department for some twelve years now, he is well-known to most all LRM clients.
Larry began his career at Land Rover Monmouth quite modestly, as a car washer and valet. Within six-months people in the front offices took notice that he was something special. Soon he was in the Service Advisor's seat helping LRM customers with all their vehicle servicing needs and doing it skillfully. In early 2010 Larry was promoted to Service Manager, the position which he holds today. He is the youngest manager in the history of LRM.
Like so many Land Rover Monmouth staffers, he's become recognized as epitomizing the Land Rover Way as well as embodying that unique dedication to client satisfaction for which Schneider+Nelson Land Rover Monmouth, Monmouth and Ocean counties only dedicated Land Rover Centre, has become so well recognized.
So, it will come as little surprise to most that Larry was up to something a little different from his usual daily service department routine recently. Rather than overseeing the work of LRM's substantial team of technicians and service advisors, Larry was selected by senior management to attend a special two-day business training seminar, 'Leadership Training for High Potentials' at the NYU Stern School of Business. The training was originally developed and customized by the NYU Business School for delivery to key personnel at Tata Communications.
The Land Rover corporation is wholly-owned by business mogul and steel magnate Ratan Tata, who also owns Tata Communications, a successful global communications company. Tata Communications sends all their new, up-and-coming, young managers through this highly-focused, very specialized training. So, no doubt, Larry will be in good company.
After two-days of lectures at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, Larry rejoined his team with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the leadership role and its inherent requirements in today's complex business environment. Being the friendly, quick-witted, but always kind individual that he is, no one at Land Rover Monmouth doubts that he'll apply all that he has learned in fine fashion to the benefit of clients, staff and management alike.
Richard F. Williams, Centre Manager at Land Rover Monmouth, put it this way, "I saw Larry's incredible talent and character early on and I wanted us, LRM, to make the investment in him. All businesses see people of lesser talent and character cycle through, but when you find someone like Larry, a really special person, it's just natural to want to invest in his development for the future. So, that's exactly what we've done. Larry is a reflection of our business and our company's values."
The management and staff of Land Rover Monmouth would like to extend their sincere congratulations to Larry Campbell on his successful completion of this valuable NYU Business School training.
Way to go!
